FAQs

What is Vistrall?

Vistrall is an ethical, privacy-first marketing analytics platform designed for agencies and in-house teams that want responsible, transparent measurement. It focuses on understanding the economic, environmental, and behavioural impact of marketing activity without relying on invasive tracking or personal profiling.

When will Vistrall be available?

Vistrall is currently in development, with a beta launch targeted for March 2026. Ahead of that, we’ll share updates, early insights, and opportunities for selected teams to help shape the platform before wider release.

How is Vistrall different from traditional analytics platforms?

Traditional analytics tools often prioritise collecting as much data as possible, even when it isn’t necessary or particularly ethical. Vistrall takes a more focused approach: we emphasise aggregated insights, responsible data practices, and sustainability-aware reporting. Instead of tracking individuals, we help teams understand patterns, impact, and outcomes in a way that respects both users and the environment.

Will Vistrall use cookies or fingerprinting?

No. Vistrall is being built on cookieless, privacy-first principles. We do not rely on cookies, fingerprinting, or hidden identifiers to measure activity. Our goal is to provide clear, useful insights without compromising user trust or introducing fragile, work-around tracking methods.

What can Vistrall help my organisation measure?

Vistrall is designed to help teams understand three key dimensions of their marketing: economic impact, environmental impact, and behavioural patterns at an aggregated level. Rather than overwhelming you with endless metrics, we focus on the ones that genuinely support better decisions across the pillars of Measure, Engage, and Perform.

Is Vistrall suitable for agencies as well as in-house teams?

Yes. Vistrall is being developed with both agencies and in-house teams in mind. Agencies can benefit from a clearer, ethical foundation for client reporting, while in-house teams gain a more transparent, sustainable view of their own activity. In both cases, the aim is the same: to support better conversations, more responsible decisions, and longer-term thinking.

Will Vistrall offer sustainability metrics?

Yes. Sustainability is a core part of Vistrall’s purpose. We aim to highlight how digital marketing contributes to environmental impact and help teams make more informed choices about their activity. While we’re not disclosing specific metrics yet, sustainability is woven into how we think about measurement, not treated as a bolt-on.

How does Vistrall differ to Plausible?

Vistrall and Plausible share similar values around ethical data practices, privacy-first analytics, and transparent measurement. We strongly support Plausible’s mission and the positive change it has brought to the analytics space. However, Vistrall is not positioned as a competitor.

Our focus is on expanding the world of responsible analytics by exploring areas that sit beyond traditional web metrics, such as environmental impact, behavioural clarity at an aggregated level, sustainable marketing evaluation, and workflow-oriented insights. Vistrall is being built around a broader ecosystem designed to help agencies and brands understand their work through the pillars of Measure, Engage, and Perform.

How does Vistrall support environmental responsibility?

Vistrall has been shaped with environmental impact in mind. We see digital marketing as having a real-world footprint, and we want teams to understand that. Our approach encourages more efficient, lower-waste activity by aligning performance thinking with sustainability thinking.

Although we are not revealing specific features yet, Vistrall’s direction is to support sustainable workflows, highlight where energy and resources may be wasted, and encourage marketing practices that prioritise both performance and planetary health.

How will Vistrall’s pricing work?

Vistrall will follow a transparent subscription model designed to be fair, accessible, and aligned with our values. We aren’t sharing specific pricing yet, but our goal is to ensure that ethical, privacy-first analytics is an option for organisations of different sizes; without dark patterns, hidden extras, or unnecessary complexity.

How can I stay updated on the beta and launch news?
